Australian Masters Games and Equestrian Victoria are pleased to advise of a change of pricing structure to the sport entry fee for the 14th Australian Masters Games equestrian events. The change has resulted from participant feedback, and is designed to enable greater participation across multiple equestrian events.
The new pricing of the sport entry fee will be $100 for a first horse, and $50 per additional horse. The $25 administration fee has been waived.
This entitles the participant to compete in as many events as allowed by the various discipline specific rules and regulations (outlined here).
Participants have to be a member of Equestrian Australia (minimum Associate membership) – required for insurance purposes
A facility fee of $16 per horse per day is to be paid with entry
Competitions are not official as they are restricted to certain age groups
Stabling and bedding can be booked through the venue (www.wpnec.com.au)
By way of example - Competitor A wants to enter with one horse and ride on two days of the competition, therefore the following entry fees will apply:
$115 Games Entry
$100 Sport Entry
$32 Facility Fee (two days)
This is positive news for equestrian riders, with this sport entry fee the same as it was in 2009 when the Australian Masters Games were last held in Geelong.

Just because you’re fit and healthy, doesn’t mean you should avoid learning the warning signs of heart attack. That will be the message to 8,000 plus participants at this year’s Australian Masters Games in Geelong following the announcement of a new event partnership with the Heart Foundation.
Iconic Australian entertainers Mental as Anything and James Reyne will have more than 8,000 participants rocking when they open the 14th edition of the Australian Masters Games in Geelong this October.
